Newly-appointed first woman Commissioner Multan Division Maryam Khan has taken charge of her office, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
After taking charge, Maryam Khan said that the Government of Punjab has entrusted her the task of development of Multan Division.
Maryam Khan said she took office with a commitment to serve the residents of Multan Division and she will take practical steps to solve the problems of the division.
The doors of the commissioner's office are open to all special and general for legitimate work, said Maryam Khan.
“Under the open door policy, solving citizens' problems on merit is a priority”, said the Commissioner.
Exemplary steps will be taken to eliminate corruption and red tape culture, she added.
Best in Division cleaning and beautification will be done, Maryam Khan said.
The commissioner said that there will be special focus on infrastructure maintenance, health and education.
