The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday restored the membership of 16 more parliamentarians and allowed them to function as members of the Senate, National Assembly, and Sindh Assembly.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the membership of 16 parliamentarians has been restored after filing their mandatory statements of assets and liabilities to the elections commission.
According to the channel report, the parliamentarians, who were suspended over non-submission of their asset details, had now filed their statements of assets and liabilities and fulfilled the legal requirement in conformance with the relevant election laws.
As per the report, the Election Commission restored the membership of Kamran Michael, Saifullah Abro, Mohsin Aziz, Sania Nishtar, Chaudhry Abid Raza, Ismatullah, Lal Chand, Musa Gilani, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Shehr Yar Mehr, and Syed Muhammad Rashid Shah.
