Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder Imran has asserted, "We will request the lawyers to file a petition regarding May 9, and the events of that day should be subject to a comprehensive investigation, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing media persons outside Adiala Jail on Tuesday, she emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the May 9 events and questioned the whereabouts of the CCTV footage related to the events.
Aleema Khan emphasized, "Without the footage, a fair investigation cannot be conducted."
Aleema Khan continued, "We will file petitions to retrieve all the CCTV footage, and legal actions will be initiated against those individuals identified in these recordings."
She drew attention to the plight of thousands of individuals incarcerated, including the leadership of PTI, who are unjustly labeled as terrorists.
Highlighting specific four cases against her and PTI leadership contested allegations related to the burning of the Corps Commander's House and PML-N offices.
She firmly stated, "The CCTV footage will reveal the truth behind these accusations and identify the actual perpetrators of these crimes."
Furthermore, Aleema Khan appealed to Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, expressing concern over an alleged illegal decision made by Judge Dilawar against the founder of PTI.
She called for an investigation into Judge Dilawar's decision, cautioning against the possibility of unjust verdicts in the future. She feared that Dilawar would be posted again and would give unjust verdicts.
Additionally, she mentioned that Justice Qazi Faiz Isa would be approached to inquire why the PTI founder is still incarcerated and praised Isa's commitment to conducting proceedings powerfully.
