Grim revelations about the exploitation of Baloch women by terrorist groups have surfaced, with the international organisation Wilson Center exposing the heinous role of the banned BLA (Balochistan Liberation Army), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The Wilson Center’s report confirmed the presence of credible evidence of the BLA exploiting Baloch women for terrorist activities. It stated that the BLA actively uses social media platforms to recruit Baloch women for terrorism.
The report disclosed that the BLA is involved in sexual exploitation, blackmailing women like Adeela Baloch, and coercing them into terrorist activities for their gain.
As per the report, Adeela’s mother revealed, “When my daughter went missing, I did everything to find her. With the government's help, my daughter was rescued from the clutches of terrorists.”
According to the report, BLA creates explicit videos of women and uses them for blackmail, forcing women to become suicide bombers.
The report named individuals like Adeela Baloch, Shari Baloch, and Mahel Baloch as victims coerced into becoming suicide bombers through social and psychological manipulation.
One case highlighted was of 27-year-old Adeela Baloch from Turbat, who was trapped by the BLA and pressured into attempting a failed suicide bombing. The BLA has reportedly used women as suicide bombers in various terror attacks across Pakistan.
Defence analysts described the sexual abuse of women by the BLA as a sign of their moral degradation. They urged the global community to take immediate notice of the vile activities of terrorist organisations and their facilitators.
