Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has filed a complaint with the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) against Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Amir Farooq, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
In the complaint, Khan has requested the removal of Chief Justice Farooq from office for alleged misbehaviour.
Khan has accused Chief Justice Farooq of taking a special interest in cases involving him, claiming that the Chief Justice has fixed nearly all such cases before himself and has unreasonably delayed proceedings.
The complaint further alleges that Chief Justice Farooq has abused his powers and passed orders in clear violation of the law.
