In a bid to address the shortage of nurses, all nursing schools and colleges across Karachi and Sindh will start offering evening classes, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.

Director of the Sindh Nursing Examination Board, Najma Mangi announced that this initiative aims to improve the nursing sector significantly.

The director said the evening classes will be introduced for the first time in Sindh, following Punjab's lead.

She said this initiative is expected to increase the number of nurses and facilitate quicker disease control.

Najma said the introduction of evening classes will potentially double the annual number of graduating nurses.
