Thieves steal weather forecasting system in Rawalpindi

A weather forecasting system installed by the Meteorological Department in Rawalpindi was stolen by unidentified thieves, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday. 

According to the channel report, the weather monitoring system was located at Katariaan Bridge in Rawalpindi.

The channel reported that following the theft, the department promptly reinstalled the system at the same location.

The incident has raised concerns about the security of public infrastructure. 

The authorities are investigating the theft to identify the culprits.
