The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday rejected the appeals filed by former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s against the penalties given to him by accountability courts (AC) in Al-Azizia and Avenfield references, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Muhsin Akhtar Kiani of the IHC pronounced the verdict.
Nawaz Sharif has already been declared an ‘absconder’ in these cases.
