Weather Forecast: Hot and dry conditions persist across Pakistan, chance of rain in some regions

The weather tonight is expected to remain hot and dry in most parts of the country, with potential wind/thunderstorms and thundershowers at a few places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Punjab, Potohar region, Northeast Balochistan, Southeast Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.


Monday's Weather Conditions:


Islamabad: The capital is expected to be hot and partly cloudy, with possible rain/thunderstorms in the evening or night.


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Most districts will experience hot and dry weather. However, areas including Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Tank, Waziristan, DI Khan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Balakot, Mansehra, Kohistan, Khyber, Peshawar, and Kurram may see rain with wind/thunderstorms in the evening or night.


Punjab: Hot and dry conditions will prevail in most districts.


However, isolated rain is possible in Murree, Guliat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Sialkot, and Narowal.


Wind/thunderstorms and thundershowers may also occur in Bhakkar, Leh, Taunsa, Rajanpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan.


Balochistan: The province will generally remain hot and dry, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms in Khuzdar, Lasbela, Barkhan, Zhob, Shirani, Kohlu, Musa Khel, Loralai, Sibi, Nasirabad, Jafarabad, Jhal Magsi, and Dera Bugti.


Sindh: Hot and dry conditions will dominate most districts, with hot and humid weather along the coastal areas. There is a chance of rain in some parts.


Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan: Partly cloudy skies with gusty winds and thundershowers are expected at a few places.
