Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif jointly chaired an all-parties conference via video link on Tuesday.
Addressing the conference, Bilawal said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would have to show that he was the prime minister of entire Pakistan and not just Islamabad. He said that opposition political parties were doing what the federal government should have done after the coronavirus outbreak in the country. He said the prime minister should take care of the needs of all provinces in these critical times. He said that Sindh was short of testing kits right now; it should be provided testing kits as soon as possible.
Speaking to participants in the conference, Shehbaz praised the PPP-led Sindh government for taking timely measures to control coronavirus in the province. He said the prime minister should call a meeting of the Council of Common Interests and take collective decisions in the prevailing situation.
