Petitions of PM, KPK CM and Governor against ECP fine to be heard on set March 28

The petitions filed by Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Minister Mehmood Khan and Governor KP Shah Farman, against the fine imposed by the District Monitoring Officer (DMO) Thursday were set for hearing, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will hear the petitions against the fine on March 28.

Federal ministers Asad Umar, Pervez Khattak, Murad Saeed and Azam Swati have also filed petitions against the fine.

MNA Junaid Akbar, Saleh Muhammad Swati, Provincial Minister Anwar Zeb, MPA Syed Ahmed Hussain also filed petitions against the fine.

The DMO has also referred the case of Azam Swati, Saleh Muhammad, Syed Ahmed Shah and two Tehsil candidates Abdul Shakoor Laghmani and Mohammad Mushtaq Khan to the ECP for repeated violations.

DMO had imposed fines of up to Rs50,000 on the Prime Minister and others for violating the code of conduct.
