Police on Monday arrested Dr Rasheed, his son-in-law and daughter as 15-year-old girl Nusrat lost her life after being administered wrong injection in Karachi, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
The local police said that mother of the victim brought her ailing daughter to Rasheed Clinic located in Bachal Goth area of Karachi but after some time she received report that her daughter’s condition is deteriorating.
The police further said that when the mother rushed to see her daughter bubbles were coming out of her mouth.
On this Dr Rasheed gave her a prescription to purchase some medicines from a medical store.
When the woman returned after purchasing the medicines her daughter had expired by then.
Later police filed an FIR against Dr Rasheed, his son-in-law and daughter who were also working in the clinic.
The FIR was lodged at Malir City Police Station on behalf of deceased’s father Wahid Bukhsh.
Police said that they have arrested Dr Rasheed, his son-in-law and daughter after the girl’s death.
The police further revealed that they will examine educational credentials of the arrested persons.
The sections of showing inefficiency, carelessness and murder attempt have also been also included in the FIR, the police maintained.
Further investigation was under way.
