In another shameful incident, a police constable accused his senior officer of sexually abusing him when he sought leave, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The victim cop later filed a complaint at Citizens Portal in which he complained that an inspector who was performing his duty in Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) office in Lahore sexually assaulted him when he approached him for leave.
He said the inspector asked to keep quiet as things often happen.
The constable demanded legal proceedings against the inspector.
Husband-wife dacoit duo arrested
A Special Wing of Lahore Police on Monday arrested a man and wife for looting people during morning timings.
Both husband and wife were later identified as Iftikhar and Amna.
Police said that the duo was first conducted recce of the employees going to offices early morning.
Police further revealed that both husband and wife have committed most of robberies in the jurisdiction of Green Town and Township areas. Both belonged to Sheikhupura.
Police said that the duo was arrested again after a period of six years. Further investigation was underway.
