A high-level security meeting, chaired by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, was convened to discuss critical national security issues, sources revealed.
The meeting brought together sensitive agencies and law enforcement officials, who presented their recommendations on fortifying the country’s security framework.
According to sources, the discussions focused on the Army Chief’s stance on making Pakistan a "hard state", a position he had strongly reaffirmed during the recent Parliamentary National Security Committee meeting.
The Army Chief had previously questioned how long Pakistan could continue making sacrifices as a soft state, emphasizing the need for a more assertive and resolute national security approach.
During the meeting, various proposals were put forward by institutions, and several crucial decisions were made to enhance internal security.
