Jawad Ahmad pays special tribute to Bhagat Singh

Popular pop singer and politician Jawad Ahmad has paid tribute to the late anti-colonial revolutionist Bhagat Singh on the day of 23rd March when he was executed in 1931 at the Shadman Jail in Lahore. 

The singer has uploaded a brief video on his YouTube channel in which he discussed his life and revolutionary actions and contributions to the Indian independence movement which are quite enlightening.

Talking about his early life, Jawad Ahmad revealed that Bhagat Singh basically hailed from Pakistan and was born in a Sikh family in the region of  Faisalabad formally known as Layallpur. He completed his education there and later entered into politics.

Jawad Ahmad shed light on his struggles against the British government at that time and also discussed his execution.

He highlighted the story of his mistaken murder of a junior British police officer John Saunders which he specifically committed as an act of retaliation against an Indian nationalist who was actually his teacher.

Jawad Ahmad expressed disappointment regarding the omission of such a significant revolutionary figure like Bhagat Singh from Pakistan's history. He stated that recalling him once more in the nation could be advantageous for authentic revolutionary viewpoints.
