While condemning death of an innocent police constable by the firing of PTI activists, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has dubbed Imran Khan as ‘terrorist’ lamenting that those who are accustomed to fire salvos of abusive language have started firing bullets now, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the interior minister said that the bullet that hit constable Kamal Ahmad in the chest was a clear proof that PTI Chief Imran Khan was a terrorist and killer.

He vowed to bring the killers of Kamal Ahmad to the dock. “Imran Khan, Sheikh Rashid and his followers who were heralding about the ‘bloody march’, they will be taken to task,” Sana warned the PTI leaders.

He said that the incident of firing on the police in Model Town betrayed that the PTI was not indulging in a peaceful political activity, rather it wanted disturbance.

The interior minister warned: “If law was taken into hands, then law will come into action and seek answer.”

He alleged that the former premier in the garb of long march was hatching a conspiracy of igniting a civil war in the country.

“We will stop the path of civil war, disturbance and violence in the country with the help of law,” Sana added.

The minister announced the Shuhda’s package for the martyred cop adding that the government would bear expenses of the education and upkeep of the family of the deceased policeman. He expressed his condolence to his family and prayed for his soul.

Marriyum Aurangzeb draws ‘red line’

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has declared that time has come to impose a “red line” in order to save the Pakistani public as well as the economy, urging the media to cover political events and boycott activities aimed at spreading anarchy, violence and terror in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Marriyum Aurangzeb maintained that a “red line” has been drawn for the revival of economy and provision of relief to the people and no one will be allowed to cross it.

The minister said political stability was the basic requirement in the battle to salvage Pakistan’s economic sovereignty. “Those who have ruined Pakistan will not be allowed to cause further destruction,” she added.

There would be no compromise on economy and public protection, she declared.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his unequivocal intention to protect the economy and the people, the minister said, adding in Lahore the red line had been crossed by firing on policeman Kamal Ahmed.
“Whenever the economy starts to take off, Imran’s mischief becomes an obstacle in its path”, she remarked.
She recalled that when the China Pakistan Economic Corridor was planned and Chinese President Xi Jinping ‘s visit to Pakistan was scheduled, the PTI started a sit-in at D Chowk.
“Today we have started to revive the economy of Pakistan and provide relief to the people and no interference will be tolerated”, she said.
Revival of the economy and relief to the people was a one-point agenda, she said and added that there would be no compromise on it and any effort to subvert this agenda would not be tolerated.
She said that now the people also would have to decide whether to stand with the ‘ looters and rioters gang’ or with the development and construction of the country.
The people’s priority was construction, development and prosperity, she maintained.
Every step was being taken to save the people from these miscreants and rioters, she assured. ‘We will not allow the conspiracy to create any hurdle in the path of revival of the economy, reduction in inflation in the country,” the minister announced.
