Messages of martyrs' relatives on ‘Youm-e-Takreem-e-Shuhada-e-Pakistan’

The relatives of martyrs have express their views and shared their message in connection with ‘Youm-e-Takreem-e-Shuhada-e-Pakistan’ scheduled to be observed on May 25.

A couple of days ago, the army chief made the announcement to mark the day to honour the martyrs.

In a message, the nephew of Flight Lieutenant Saifullah Lodhi Shaheed said the armed forces are the only means of defence of the country.

The wife of Squadron Leader Shabbir Alam Siddiqui Shaheed said the entire nation be proud of the Pakistan Army. “We should try to ensure that their sacrifices do not go in vain."

The brother of Flight Lieutenant Shahid Mehmood Shaheed said the nation is blessed with freedom the result of the sacrifices of the martyrs.

Wife of  Flight Lieutenant Mehmood Ahmed Butt Shaheed said: "As a nation, it is our duty to remember the sacrifices of the martyrs and play our part in national progress.

The daughter of Squadron Leader Muneeruddin Ahmed Shaheed said that the sons of the soil sacrificed their lives to protect the motherland.

Wife of Wing Commander Numan Akram Shaheed said: “We should remain united and respect the martyrs and should not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the sake of the country.”

The brother of  Rashid Minhas said: "A martyr never dies and our religion teaches us to respect martyrs - our nation is ready for any sacrifice."
