The reasons that have compelled Fawad Chaudhry to leave Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have been revealed, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the first crack appeared in the relationship between Chairman Imran and Fawad Chaudhry when the PTI chief did not pay any heed to the arrest of Chaudhry.

Sources said the party leadership had reservations due to Fawad Chaudhry's week-long activities till May 9.

On May 11, he was apprehended by the police from the Supreme Court building, where he had sought refuge for over 12 hours in an attempt to evade his impending arrest. This cowardly action of Chaudhry annoyed the leadership.

The sources added that the video of escaping Fawad from arrest in Islamabad High Court also angered party leadership. The senior leadership of PTI cut off contact with Fawad Chaudhry as he shared the secrets of the party with a few personalities, the sources said. Later, Fawad Chaudhry was blocked by party leaders on WhatsApp.

These all circumstances aggravated the tension of Fawad Chaudhry who decided to quit the party. Instead of restoring trust in the party, Fawad Chaudhry got his wife to criticize Imran Khan. Fawad Chaudhry's wife's reaction also angered the leadership, sources said.

The PTI leadership feared that Fawad Chaudhry has evidence that can be used against Imran Khan.
