The Supreme Court has returned a petition regarding appointment of the army chief after raising objections over its contents, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The apex court’s Registrar Office gave back the petition to its mover Talib Hussain, objecting that he did not approached the relevant forum.
The petitioner while making the Federation and the Defence Ministry as respondents prayed the court to direct government to follow seniority order while appointing the new army chief.
