The gas crisis worsened as the Sui Southern Gas Company failed to supply gas in Sindh, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
It was stated that the reduction in gas supply resulted in a decrease in the gas pressure in the line pack.
The Sui Southern Gas company decided to temporarily stop the gas supply to CNG stations, general industries and private power plants across Sindh
The Sui Southern Gas representatives said that the decision has been taken to ensure a continuous supply of gas to domestic consumers.
It was stated that all CNG stations and all general industries and private power plants in Sindh will remain closed for 48 hours starting from November 25 at 8 am. The gas supply to CNG stations in Sindh will be restored after 8 am on November 27 on Monday.
They said that the violation of the load-shedding will result in the disconnection of the gas supply for another 7 days
