A journalist was tragically killed in a firing incident during a jirga held in the Spain Bund locality of Chaman on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to the channel report, the deceased, identified as Salahuddin Achakzai, was serving as the Chief Editor of the Daily Itla-e-Aam group of newspapers.
The administration of Qila Abdullah district stated that the Levi force promptly reached the crime scene after the incident.
Following initial investigations, Achakzai’s body was dispatched to his native village. The motive behind the firing remains unclear, and local authorities are investigating the incident.
