The International Cricket Council (ICC) has rejected Indian media reports about an emergency board meeting scheduled for Tuesday regarding the Champions Trophy, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.
According to ICC sources, no meeting has been planned to discuss issues such as the Champions Trophy schedule, the hybrid model, or India’s refusal to participate. These claims were branded as baseless.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had also expressed unawareness about any such meeting. Indian media had recently alleged that an emergency meeting was set for November 26, with representatives from the PCB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) expected to attend.
The ICC clarified that no decisions or discussions on the Champions Trophy’s future or related matters are currently scheduled.
