Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made a surprise visit to the F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange Project Islamabad late at night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also visited F-10 Chowk.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi inspected the ongoing construction work.
During his visit, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi ordered the piling work of the project to be completed soon.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the construction work of the underpass and flyover of the project.
The F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange will be completed in just 4 months instead of 12 months. Mohsin Naqvi said.
He said that a flyover under the F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange Project and an underpass will be built and connecting roads will be constructed.
Mohsin Naqvi said the task has been given to complete the project within the stipulated period.
The project should be completed within the stipulated period by doing 24/7 construction work, Mohsin Naqvi directed.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has sought a plan to keep traffic flowing at F-10 Chowk.
Mohsin Naqvi directed that a comprehensive plan should be made to widen F-10 Chowk further directing for authentic traffic count of F-10 Chowk.
Construction of underpass can be reviewed after the traffic count, Mohsin Naqvi said.
On the occasion, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa gave a briefing on the progress of F-8 Exchange Chowk Interchange Project.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Senior officers and contractors of CDA were also present on the occasion.
