Petroleum Minister Musadik Malik said on Monday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is storming Islamabad.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Mali said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur wanted to invade Islamabad at a time when foreign heads of state were coming to the federal capital. He said that Gandapur did not care for KP as he did not visit Parachinar where dozens of people have been killed in recent days in sectarian violence. He said that PTI leaders did not want party founder Imran Khan’s release from jail. He said that miscreants could not digest Pakistan’s progress.
The federal minister questioned the absence of top PTI leadership from the scene and the claim about participation of hundreds of thousands of workers in the November 24 protests. He said that some PTI leaders were voluntarily surrendering to the police. He said that Gandapur should take care of his own province instead of lead protest rallies. He said that PTI’s protest is not being seen anywhere in Punjab, Sindh or Balochistan. He said that Gandapur could deceive PTI workers again like he did in the past.
