Railway employees stopped all trains departing from Quetta at the station in protest against the demolition of the boundary walls of their houses by the administration, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Due to railway employee protests, Rawalpindi-Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express and Karachi-bound Bolan Mail could not depart.

Moreover, the Chaman-bound Chaman passenger train was also suspended, due to which passengers had to face difficulties.

Railway unions protested at Quetta railway station against the demolition of railway employees' houses.

Protestors said that action taken by the project director in the dark of night was unjustified.

Protesters said that sacredness of the veil and boundary wall was violated, and children or women have been confined in rooms.

The matter is in court, and demolition of boundary walls is an extrajudicial act, protesters said.
