Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said the foreign office is in contact with the Kenyan government over the demise of senior journalist Arshad Sharif, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
While talking to the media outside the parliament, he expressed deep grief and sorrow over the killing of Journalist Arshad Sharif saying it is an irreparable loss to the journalists’ community of Pakistan.
He said that the Pakistani Embassy in Kenya is looking into the matter while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also requested the President of Kenya to investigate the incident.
“Our family and ordinary countrymen also became victims of terrorism, he said.
He said our soldiers have played the role of the front line against terrorism and they are being targeted by terrorists.
While doing politics, we must think that the martyrs' families should not suffer while raising slogans, he added.
