Two dacoits were seriously injured and later died on way to a hospital after a robbery attempt in a private school located in Nekapura area of Sialkot on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, both the dacoits tried to enter the private school for robbery but after spotting the security guard opened indiscriminate firing.
In retaliation, the security guard shot and injured both dacoits.
Due to severe firing, panic spread in the area and the dacoits tried their best to take shelter in nearby buildings.
CCTV footage also confirmed their efforts to escape from the scene. Residents of the area complained that the local police failed to reach the spot timely.
The residents themselves chased the dacoits and apprehended them and later handed them over to the police.
Both dacoits were identified as Shakakhat Khudadad and Hashim Khan.
Later both the dacoits died on way to the hospital.
The dacoits were involved in more than 50 criminal activities in Lahore.
