Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday visited the secretariat of the top-secret agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Islamabad where he was briefed about the Afghan situation, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Friday.
According to the declaration, the PM was accompanied by the chief ministers of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces and some federal ministers.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar were also present.
ISI Director General Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed welcomed the dignitaries at the secretariat.
A comprehensive briefing was given to the National and Military leadership on the national security and regional dynamics with focus on ongoing situation in Afghanistan.
The Prime Minister appreciated the diligent efforts of Inter Services Intelligence for national security and expressed his satisfaction over professional preparedness.
