The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Athar Minallah visited Adiala Jail on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) moved IHC to discuss the case regarding the alleged torture of prisoners.
Earlier, IHC CJ directed the secretary of human rights to accompany him on the visit, stating that the ministry of human rights had extraordinary powers.
