The highly anticipated ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 is all set to begin from October 3 in the United Arab Emirates hosted by Bangladesh. The International Cricket Council has released the list of ten umpires and three match referees, who will be officiating the ninth edition of the coveted tournament.

The experienced panel for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup boasts a wealth of unique experiences. Claire Polosak, a veteran of the panel, will be making her fifth appearance. Kim Cotton and Jacqueline Williams, both with three tournaments under their belts, notably officiated the final between South Africa and champions Australia at Cape Town last February.

TV umpire Sue Redfern, who umpired the match's final, is also back for her fourth tournament. The Zimbabwean debutant Sarah Dambanevana will complete the panel. The match referee is GS Lakshmi, who officiated her first T20I in 2012 and, along with Shandre Fritz and Michell Pereira, will also be a part of the panel.

In an official statement, ICC's senior manager Sean Easey expressed the great delight he feels to contribute towards the advancement of women in the sport of cricket. He also instilled support and faith in the all-female line-up for the Women’s T20 World Cup.
