Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari appeared as a guest on Tabish Hashmi's show 'Hasna Mana Hai' where she spoke about Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s fame and music.
Talking about it, she expressed her concerns regarding the viral culture that has taken hold of the Pakistani entertainment industry, particularly about the rise of "new stars" like Chahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Bushra Ansari did not hold back her feelings about the current state of music, stating, "I am completely disappointed with the viral culture in our country."
Further, she said, "I have no words for what he and others like him are becoming famous for."
She is in pain seeing how music is being openly disrespected and this disrespect of music is what she cannot tolerate.
"It pains me to see music being openly disrespected. This is something I cannot tolerate," she asserted, highlighting the need for a return to genuine artistry in the industry.
Bushra Ansari has worked in several mediums and she remains on the top of her game. She is also a singer and she has a profound love for music.
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who gained popularity through his parodies of well-known songs, achieved significant recognition with his latest release, a reimagining of Madam Noor Jahan’s classic hit “Bado Badi.”
