Popular Pakistani actress Hira Khan has vehemently criticized senior showbiz star Saba Faisal for her a bit of controversial statement somehow ‘exaggerating’ the importance of having sons with equally serving discrimination for daughters.
Saba Qamar has lately appeared in a popular morning show with celebrated host Nida Yasir where the lady generally provided her two cents regarding the value of a son rather than a daughter in the family while revealing the ‘annoying’ behavior of her sister towards the son which sometime made her prioritizing complete silence.
Saba in the interview shared: "My younger sister after being aggrieved from the various issues associated with sons, used to say Thank God! I don’t have sons so we just used to prioritize silence upon it. But now her husband has passed away and her daughters live abroad separately. Lately, she gave me a phone call which made my whole day very disturbed as she was in great tension after finding her car out of work suddenly. I suggested her to sale it as it was causing mental harm. So, the point here is that when you have a son they accompany you anytime, or even if they are not sometimes, the idea of having a son makes you feel great So, I just want to say to those who have only daughters express gratitude but never feel blessed for not having sons.”
Saba Faisal’s aforementioned arguments have enraged the junior actress Hira Khan quite a lot as she expressed ‘harsh’ words for Saba in her latest Instagram post.
Here is what Hira stated regarding Saba Faisal with uploading her interview on her social media story: “Stunned by the audacity and stupidity”.
Saba Faisal responded to Hira Khan with great patience, writing: “Hira ye Bat Karny K Liye Abhi Zindagi Ka experience Laina Bohat Zaruri Hai.”
Senior star Saba Faisal’s daughter Sadia Faisal also criticized Hira Khan for her bold words, she stated in her Instagram upload: “Everyone has a right to speak whatever he/she wants! And I’m stunned by your words! Have some respect for senior artists of your own industry”.
Hira replied to Sadia with a brief explanation: “In a country where newborns are killed just because they are not boys, where women are already considered a burden, its not okay for someone as big as Saba Ji to come and say things like these. I absolutely respect her craft but this is not okay.”
Sadia again answered to Hira’s response
: “You are taking it out of context what she meant had nothing to do with whatever you said peace please.”
