Serving policemen’s Mukhtiaray Gang, which used to loot people on motorways in Taxila, got bail from the court on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The TV channel reported that the policemen got bail due to a weak challan prepared by the police department in order to facilitate their comrades.
The motorway police arrested Asif and Mukhtiar red-handed when the policemen-dacoits were robbing citizens on the motorway. Later, the Motorway police registered a case against them. However, the police presented a weak challan on the basis of which the court granted bail to the accused policemen, the TV channel reported.
According to the channel, the accused policemen have been looting people for quite some time now with the support of SHO Taxila.
