Anti-government Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has unveiled their strategy to arrange public gatherings and seminars for the next four months, reported 24NewsHD TV channel quoting its sources.
The sources told the TV channel on Wednesday that the PDM has decided to hold a public gathering after every three weeks. To finalize the city, place, and time, the suggestions would be provided in the next meeting of the PDM bigwigs which is to be held on August 28.
Public gatherings would be held all across the country including Islamabad and provincial capitals.
The PDM also decided to invite lawyers, media and people from other walks of life to their public gatherings.
Reports said that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif would lead the party in the upcoming public gathering of the PDM in Karachi. Shehbaz Sharif will land in Karachi on August 27 on a three-day visit.
On Tuesday, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari welcomed the decision of the PDM to start political activities and their gathering in Karachi on August 29.
