Bushra Bibi, wife of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, has submitted her affidavit to the Supreme Court regarding her incarcerated husband’s condition in the Attock Jail, reported 24News HD TV channel on Friday.

In her affidavit, Bushra Bibi apprised the apex court that her husband Imran Khan is facing serious threats in the jail. She said after lots of troubles and delays, she did manage to hold a meeting with Imran Khan at Attock Jail on August 22.

She said that the PTI chairman is standing tall for the rule of law and the Constituency. He is determined to face every trial and render sacrifice for this cause.

She said that the health of the PTI chairman is deteriorating in the jail and he has lost weight during his incarceration.

She further stated that falling health of a 70-year-old man poses serious threat to his life.

Bushra Bibi held a third meeting with Imran Khan on Tuesday. The meeting lasted for almost an hour.

When she went to meet her husband, police stopped her at the checkpoint, and her vehicle was thoroughly searched, after which she was allowed to go inside the jail.

A couple of days ago, the PTI released a report of a district and sessions judge pertaining to his inspection of the Attock jail on August 15, revealing that a CCTV camera was installed right in front of the cell of former premier Imran Khan breaching his privacy.

According to Additional Sessions Judge Shafqat Ullah Khan, Imran Khan did not have any privacy during the use of toilets and bathing due to the CCTV camera installed at a height of 5-6 feet. Imran Khan also complained about it.

The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the attorney general for Pakistan to file a report on the living condition of PTI chairman at Attock Jail facility by August 28.

Former premier Imran Khan is serving a three-year term in Attock Jail after a trial court convicted him in the Toshakhana case.
