Pakistan acting as bulwark against terrorism, says COAS

Chief of the Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has said that Pakistan is acting as a bulwark against terrorism and the global community must realize the immense sacrifices made by the Pakistani nation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A group of 38 students from Harvard University, USA hailing from nine different countries met Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Friday as part of their visit to Pakistan.

During the interactive session, the Army Chief talked about regional security issues and Pakistan Army’s contributions to promote peace and stability in the region.

The COAS highlighted the rich potential of Pakistan and urged the participants to perceive Pakistan based on their experiences during their stay here.

The COAS underscored that Pakistan is acting as a bulwark against terrorism and international community must realize the immense sacrifices given by Pakistan.

The COAS also highlighted the human sufferings and atrocities being committed in IIJOK and efforts to change the demographic realities.

Students appreciated the COAS for providing the opportunity for a constructive interaction.
