In a surprising move from the dacoits of Kacha areas in Rahim Yar Khan and Sindh, the notorious dacoit Shahid Lund, whose head carries a bounty of Rs10 million, called the government hotline himself to claim the reward.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the bounty was placed by the government after an attack on police officers in Rahim Yar Khan two days ago.
Dacoit Shahid Lund not only made the call to the Punjab Interior Department but also recorded a video of the call, which he later posted on social media.
The video, obtained by the TV channel, shows Dacoit Shahid Lund questioning the decision to place his name on the list of wanted criminals and demanding its removal.
In his video message, Shahid claimed that the actual attackers on the police team were not included in the list and questioned why his name was placed at the top with the highest bounty.
Dacoit Shahid Lund urged the authorities to remove his name from the bounty list.
This incident has sparked widespread attention, highlighting the boldness of the dacoit and raising questions about the effectiveness of the police approach to dealing with dacoits in the region.
