An incident took place at DHA branch of Delizia bakery, Karachi lately. One of the staff members when asked to write 'Merry Christmas' on a cake, blatantly refused to accept the request and told the concerned lady that the order of not complying to her wishes has been instructed from the kitchen. This instant caused an uproar over social media and actress Syra Yousuf has something to say regarding the issue.

Syra Yousuf has taken to her social media handle and talked about how everyone deserves respect regardless of religious beliefs. The celebrity has asked everyone to be a bit more human, a bit more tolerant.
Syra stated: "If not selling or catering to our Christian community comes from a place of religious sentiments then I hate to break it to you, you have got your religion wrong. Let's learn to be tolerant. Let's learn to show respect to each other regardless of our religious beliefs. Let's learn to be human."
This incident has gained a lot of recognition all over social media with mixed reactions comprising of some supporting the woman while some supporting the bakery's decision.
