A war of words has erupted in the political landscape as Chaudhry Salik Hussain, a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), responded to tweets from Monis Elahi, leveling accusations against Chaudhry Shujaat's sons, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

The controversy centers around allegations that Chaudhry Shujaat's sons were involved in sending the police to arrest their paternal aunts.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain, in a stern reply to Monis Elahi's tweets from abroad, questioned whether Monis Elahi had taken on the role of a media reporter, urging him to confirm the news before making such serious accusations.

Hussain, learning of the incident through a forwarded tweet, emphasized the need for fact-checking in such sensitive matters.

Warning against sacrificing family honor for political gains, Salik Hussain asserted that the truth is known to the people and urged against playing the "woman card" in Gujarat.

He further pointed out the ancestral connection to the region, calling for the opening of locked rooms when they visit.

In a pointed remark about the nomination process, Chaudhry Salik Hussain questioned why the candidates themselves needed to submit nomination papers when there was an army of lawyers at their disposal.

Amidst the exchange, Salik Hussain expressed empathy for Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, praying for patience and a reduction in difficulties for the PTI leader.

He appealed for a focus on politics rather than personal grudges, urging against baseless accusations.

The unfolding political spectacle has garnered attention across Pakistan, with Chaudhry Salik Hussain calling for a shift away from personal disputes, emphasizing that politics should be conducted with integrity and without resorting to unfounded claims.
