Acclaimed Pakistani Qawwal Ustad Sher Ali Khan passed away in Faisalabad on Wednesday.
The Sufi singer has been unwell for a long time. The timing of his funeral prayer will be announced later.
The Sher Ali-Mehar Ali duo was quite popular national and internationally for their art of Qawwali. Ustad Sher Ali Khan’s son Ejaz Sher Ali Khan is also a well-known singer. Ustad Sher Ali and Ustad Mehar Ali were well-versed in classical music too.
