Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flights from Karachi to Islamabad and Lahore have been delayed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to report, the software update of one aircraft was the cause of delay during routine maintenance of the aircraft Tuesday night.
Due to the delay in the update of this aircraft’s software, PK-300 and PK-301 flights were delayed.
The aircraft has left the engineering hangar and PK-300 will depart at 1:30 pm and PK-301 will operate after it.
Lahore flight PK-304 has been cancelled and its passengers were being accommodated on alternative flights.
The PIA strictly adheres to the regularity of the schedule and this is the first flight in the last three weeks that has been delayed.
The PIA CEO is taking care of the matter himself and has given special instructions to take care of the passengers and save them from inconvenience.
