Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Information Secretary Waqas Akram Sheikh said on Wednesday his party would thank everyone who would raise voice for the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan and against the post-May 9 action against the PTI, Nov 26 massacre of PTI workers in Islamabad and civilians’ trial in military courts.
Responding to the recent statements of Richard Grenell, US President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee as envoy for special missions, Sheikh said the PTI was raising its voice in the United States, European Union and rest of the world against the human rights violations being committed in Pakistan. He said there is nothing new. He said the world will raise its voice whenever human rights are violated in this country and civilians are tried in military courts.
