Wedding celebrations of Zaid Hussain Nawaz begin at Jati Umrah

Nikkah ceremony of Zaid Hussain Nawaz, grandson of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was held at Jati Umrah Lahore on Wednesday night which was attended by local as well as international guests. 

Zaid Hussain Nawaz tied the knot with Aiman Habibi, daughter of renowned industrialists Sheikh Habib-ur-Rehman. 

The wedding celebrations begin with Zaid’s Nikah, which will coincide with the Henna ceremony at Jati Umra, where 500 guests are expected. The wedding will take place on December 27, with 700 guests invited for the grand reception, also known as the Valima, on December 29. 

The Nikah ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, former Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Ali Dar, Junaid Safdar, Yusuf Abbas, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Special Assistant Zeeshan Malik and others. The guests congratulated Zaid Hussain Nawaz and Ayman Habib on their marriage. Khawaja Asif, Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Parvez Rasheed, Sohail Zia Butt and other also participated in the ceremony. 

All members of the Sharif family residing abroad, including the younger daughter of the former prime minister, Asma Nawaz, have already arrived in Pakistan. Hussain, along with his family, has also arrived in Lahore for the wedding.

Security arrangements for both local and international guests have been made by Punjab Police, following official orders. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will perform in Qawwali Night on the occasion of Henna ceremony. Strict security arrangements have been made in and around Jati Umrah.
