Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said the PPP will not let anyone do the politics of violence.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he said the party workers are being subject to political violence and he will not let such politics go on.

Flanked by Murad Ali Shah, Dr. Asim Hussain, Saeed Ghani and Waqar Mehdi, the PPP chairman said Murad Ali Shah was directed to form a team to investigate the matter.

The culprits will be brought to justice, he said

He added:  “I came here to condole the martyred worker of PPP. Twelve-year-old Abdul Rehman was a PPP supporter. His family was told to leave the party but they stood firm against threats

“There was violence against the PPP in many districts. The political parties that think that they will introduce the politics of violence to the city are mistaken.”

He continued:  “Murad Ali Shah is directed to form an investigation team on the actions taken against the PPP workers.

“The culprits will be brought to book at all costs. Any political activist including from the PPP will face the music.”

He stressed: “Religious and linguistic terrorism will not be tolerated in the province.

“Those who are falsely accusing the PPP will not be blackmailed by their dramas.

He added:  “Instead of giving justice, the PPP was subjected to a blame game.

“Removing anyone’s flag is not PPP’s policy."
