Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has formally inaugurated the restoration project of Kharak Singh Haveli and Akbari Mahal of Lahore Fort, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited different parts of Kharak Singh Haveli and Akbari Mahal and expressed deep interest.
Mohsin Naqvi was told about the engine of the old plane, recovered from Kharak Singh Haveli.
He also saw the antiques recovered from Kharak Singh Haveli.
Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also reviewed the ongoing restoration works at Kharak Singh Haveli and Akbari Mahal.
He also inspected the upper floor and the wooden roof of the upper floor of Kharak Singh Haveli.
The Chief Minister was told about Nanak Chandi bricks on the walls of Kharak Singh Haveli.
The Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi instructed to complete the restoration project of Kharak Singh Haveli and Akbari Mahal as soon as possible.
Provincial Ministers Dr. Javed Akram, Mansoor Qadir, Aamir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Advisor Wahab Riaz, Chief Secretary, Senior Member Board of Revenue, Chairman Planning and Board, IG Police, Secretary Awqaf, CCPO, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and the relevant authorities were also present on the occasion.
Walled City Authority chief Kamran Lashari and other archeologists gave a detailed briefing to Chief Minister about the completion of the projects.
