Riasat Ali Azad elected as IHCBA President for 204-25

In the annual elections of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA), Asma Jahangir, Syed Nair Hussain Bukhari, and Raja Haleem Abbasi group emerged victorious, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


According to unofficial results, Riasat Ali Azad clinched the coveted seat of President with an impressive tally of 785 votes while his opponent, Ali Hussain Bhatti of the Hamid Khan Group could get 490 votes only.


 For the seat of Additional Secretary, Nusrat Parveen emerged triumphant with 776 votes, outshining Shaheen Akhtar, who secured the second position with 484 votes.


In the race for Joint Secretary, Nadeem Akhtar emerged victorious, securing 674 votes, while Hamad Saeed Dar trailed closely behind with 577 votes.


 Rana Ali Raza secured a landslide victory in the contest for Library Secretary, attaining 718 votes, leaving his closest competitor, Rana Ali Amar, trailing with 530 votes.
