Local government by-elections in 25 districts of Balochistan will be held on Sunday (January 26).
According to the information released by the Election Commission on Saturday, 167 candidates are contesting the local government by-elections in 50 wards of the province.
The Election Commission said that all electoral and security arrangements for the polling day have been completed and the election material has been handed over to the presiding officers.
At least 60 polling stations and 138 polling booths have been set up for the voters. The total number of registered voters in these 50 wards is 43,784.
On the polling day, people can cast their votes from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
