Judicial complex commotion case against Imran Khan adjourned till Aug 22

The case of commotion in the judicial complex and the high court during the appearance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman was adjourned without any proceeding till August 22 next due to the judge being on leave, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sardar Masroof appeared before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad for the hearing of the case on behalf of the accused.

The PTI chairman’s plea for exemption from appearance was approved. Two cases had been registered against the PTI chairman at Ramna police station and one at Golra police station.

It is to be noted here that the PTI chairman’s bail in the cases registered at Ramna and Golra police stations has been confirmed.

Meanwhile, the PTI chairman’s interim bail in six cases under hearing at the district and sessions courts of Islamabad was extended till tomorrow.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra exempted the PTI chairman from appearance and extended the interim bail till tomorrow at the request of his lawyers.

Two cases were registered against the PTI chairman at Tarnol police station and one each at Kohsar, Karachi Company, Secretariat and Ramna police stations.
