The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) has offloaded six Azerbaijan-bound passengers at Karachi airport for carrying fake documents, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to sources, the off-loaded passengers identified as Badshah Nazir, Muhammad Abdullah, Abdul Zaheer, Muhammad Kibria, Kaleem Ullah, and Abdul Rab Khan. All were going to Azerbaijan on a visit visa.
According to a preliminary investigation, the accused had to reach Azerbaijan and obtain Schengen visas from an agent waiting for them in Baku. Then, they had to fly to Europe on fake visas. FIA Immigration staff also recovered photocopies of Schengen visas from passengers' luggage.
During the physical search, tickets to Europe were also recovered from the mobile phones of the accused.
The accused were supposed to try to go to Europe from Azerbaijan
The accused were transferred to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi for further verification and legal action.
