A petition has been filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC) to deport the USA journalist Cynthia D Ritchie from the country.
A Pakistani citizen Chaudhry Iftikhar filed the petition in the court and stated that the US journalist’s visa to the country has expired in March 2020 and she has been residing in the country illegally.
The petitioner asserted that the lady journalist should be banned from her movement in the country.
Cynthia Ritchie, secretary cabinet division, secretary interior, DG FIA and Chairman Security Exchange Commission have been made respondents in the case.
